Entrance Exams for Hotel Management

Hotel management can be studied at different levels and in different ways. A Certificate Program (online/offline), Diploma/PG Diploma, Bachelor, Master, and/or Doctoral level are all options for studying hotel management. There are certificate programmes in hotel management available in concentrations include food and beverage management, hotel and hospitality management, and front office operation.

Connecting to the course provider’s website is all it takes to apply for admission to an online certificate programme in hotel management. In contrast, universities admit applicants for offline courses based on merit (Class 10/Class 12 scores). There are one-year and two-year-long diploma and postgraduate diploma programmes in hotel management, respectively. Three specialties for diploma programmes are available: hotel management, housekeeping, and hotel management and catering technology. On the other hand, the PG Diploma only offers Hotel Management.
 
Again, merit-based admissions are used for these courses. For Diploma programmes, class 12 merit is taken into account, however for PG Diploma programmes, graduation level is taken into account. 2. All India Management Association Undergraduate Aptitude Test Bachelor of Hotel Management (AIMA UGAT BHM):
The National Testing Agency (NTA) holds the AIMA UGAT BHM at the national level for applicants seeking admission to the Hotel Management undergraduate programme at any of the participating institutions.
 
3. Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Written Admission Test (AIHMCT WAT): 
The AIHMCT administers this national university-level entrance exam for enrollment in its Bachelor of Hotel Management programme.
